GUIDE TO ERASMUS:
During
Upon arrival, we will meet you at the IAO to welcome you to UPV and:
- Provide you with general information related to mobility.
- Provide you with instructions on how to open your Spanish bank account.
- Initiate the administrative procedure for KA107 Scholarship.
In the first meeting, you must provide the following documents:
- Passport with visa.
- Boarding pass of your flight (not the booking) from all connections if applicable.
- Certificate of incorporation issued by the School after your incorporation at UPV.
After your incorporation at School, you must deliver/send to the IAO the Certificate of incorporation issued by the School. This date is important to manage the payment of your scholarship.
We will also assist you to open your bank account:
- Bank account. To receive the payments you need a Spanish bank account. There are two banks on our campus: Santander and Caixabank. Both banks will ask for your passport and/or NIE, telephone number in Spain (sim card), and certificate of enrolment as an exchange student at UPV, as well as the rental contract.
- Once we know your bank account number, we will proceed with payment of the first part of the grant (70% of the scholarship and travel aid). The last 30% will be paid during the last month of your academic activity at UPV.
In the last week of each month, you must submit a monthly report at the OAI, in which you shall describe briefly your activity at UPV during the last month. It has to be signed by you and by the international office of your faculty in case you are a bachelor’s or master’s student, or by the professor supervisor in case you are a PhD student. We will provide you with a template.
