Tito Tabona, de Tangaza University College, Nairobi, Kenia, ha querido compartir su grata experiencia en la UPV durante su movilidad Erasmus+ en el semestre B 2025-2026. Su estancia ha supuesto una oportunidad de crecimiento académico, personal e intercultural, marcada por el descubrimiento de nuevas culturas, la creación de amistades y redes internacionales, y una visión más amplia sobre la forma en que distintas nacionalidades comprenden y afrontan la vida.

En la imagen, Tito expresa su agradecimiento por haber participado en la movilidad Erasmus Student Mobility 2025/26. Señala que, aunque sobre el papel la experiencia pueda parecer de cinco meses, en realidad se ha convertido en una vida de recuerdos y aprendizajes valiosos. También destaca la importancia de haber conocido nuevas culturas, creado vínculos personales y profesionales, y haber vivido una experiencia que influirá positivamente en su futuro.

Saint Xavier’s College reforzó su cooperación internacional a través del proyecto Erasmus+ KA171 2024-2027, impulsando la movilidad académica y el intercambio intercultural entre instituciones asociadas. En este marco, el programa contó con la participación de tres estudiantes entrantes y un estudiante saliente, además de cuatro movilidades de personal: dos entrantes y dos salientes. Estas acciones reflejan el compromiso de la institución con la internacionalización, la colaboración académica y la creación de oportunidades formativas para estudiantes y personal.

Raphaelle Attal, de la Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design de Jerusalén, durante el recital celebrado en los Welcome Days de inicio del semestre A 2025-2026. La actuación, enmarcada en el proyecto Erasmus+ KA171 2023-2026, ofreció un momento de encuentro artístico y cultural que dio la bienvenida al nuevo curso académico, reforzando los lazos de cooperación internacional entre instituciones y estudiantes.

Mayte Gassó, a professor from the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Informàtica at Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV), collaborated with Universidad San Francisco Xavier in Bolivia through the Erasmus KA171 program. Her goal was to enhance education and international networking in higher education institutions. Gassó focused on linear algebra and taught how to use the free-use program Scilab, which provides a powerful environment for engineering and scientific applications.

Cristobal Miralles, a teacher from UPV’s School of Industrial Engineering, collaborated with Chulalongkorn University through Erasmus KA171. Their focus was on Sustainable Operations Management, aiming to promote UPV and facilitate networking with Chulalongkorn. The program included seminars, lectures, and research presentations, educating around 50 students on sustainability and ethical business practices. They also set plans for a future visit from Chulalongkorn academics to Valencia.

Elena Taulet, the coordinator of Erasmus KA171, and Chele Esteve, a professor from ETSID (Higher Technical School of Design Engineering), partnered with the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB). Their objective was to enhance international collaboration and create more opportunities for cooperation. They organized various activities including meetings, workshops on the practical application of technology, and campus visits, with a focus on identifying common interests for academic and research collaboration and exchanging best practices.

Ayoub, a Sudanese student at Universitat Politécnica de València (UPV), faces the challenges of studying abroad amidst the outbreak of the 3rd Sudanese Civil War. Supported by UPV, Spanish embassies, and Father Jorge Naranjo, Ayoub navigates communication barriers and bureaucratic hurdles, highlighting resilience amid adversity and advocating for peace in Sudan.
