    Conditions for Eligibility

Fewer Opportunities Students

  • Students with a scholarship from the Ministry of Education of their country or equivalent official educational organization.
  • Be a large family member, according to the recognition of the country of origin.
  • Be a member of a single-parent family.
  • Have a disability more significant than 33% officially recognised in the country of origin or residence.
  • Have refugee or displaced person status in the country of residence.
  • Risk of social exclusion or social emergency.
  • Be an orphan.
  • Students working full time.
  • Undergraduate and Master’s Students

    • Candidates must study in the third year, preferably in the fourth year of the grade.
    • Candidates for Master’s shall have 30 ECTS approved.
    • Nominated candidates must preferably belong to the areas of study agreed upon in the inter-institutional agreement with each partner.
    • We strongly recommend that all candidates have an A1 Spanish level; this will allow them to obtain better benefits from their stay at the social level. UPV will provide MOOC Spanish courses for beginners before each semester and the EU also provides the Online Language Support https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/resources-and-tools/online-language-support
    • If the candidates have a Spanish B2 (or even B1) level, they can be admitted to any School without restrictions.
    • Please consider that admission to the School of Business and Informatics is VERY UNLIKELY.
    • The minimum amount of ECTS for one semester is 30, and research work can be included. The student shall take exams and get scores that will be later recognized at the home institution, as settled in the learning agreement.

    Ph.D. Students

    • Ph.D. students will develop their research with the UPV Department and professors who already have a previous academic relationship with the home institution, which will help strengthen scientific collaboration.
    • Ph.D. students will need a pre-invitation letter from the UPV professor who shall supervise their research as a requirement to be admitted for the selection process.
    • Students will apply for a type D visa (6 months) in the Spanish Consulate of the Region/Country; UPV will provide all necessary documents for incoming participants. For outgoing participants, partners will provide the required documents.

    Staff

    • The academic staff must have a previously agreed-upon work plan with the UPV professor who will host them during the stay and who shall belong to the academic areas included in the inter-institutional agreement.
    • The administrative staff must be pre-admitted in one of the staff weeks the UPV organizes throughout the year. Individual stays for administrative staff are not available.
